Hi! Currently, I work as a Patent Examiner (Physics) at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in Alexandria, VA, USA. Previously, I was a Support/STScI Scientist at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) in Baltimore, MD, USA. My main research interest in astronomy was studying distant galaxies to understand how they form and evolve over time into structures like the Milky Way and other present-day galaxies. I earned my PhD in Physics/Astronomy from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, USA, in August 2008. I have also worked at the University of California, Riverside (USA), Carnegie Observatories (USA), and Laboratoire d'Astrophysique de Marseille (France) as a Postdoctoral Researcher.
